Neel Webber, President

Neel is a parent, husband, and educator, as well as the Artistic Director of the Berkshire Crafts Fair. He believes that knowing your voice as a young person is a path to understanding much of what you will encounter.



 

Beth Rose, Treasurer

A native to the Berkshires, Beth Rose has been a singer for more than 30 years. She continues to perform regularly and has recorded as a featured singer as well as a backing vocalist on numerous productions. She is an active and founding member of the Denise Kaley fund, which raises funds and awareness for women living with cancer in need of support in Berkshire County. Beth is a licensed massage therapist and is continually involved in the local community.

 

Mae Whaley, Clerk

Mae is a recent graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst where she studied Political Science and Music. She is passionate about social justice and believes deeply in the power of music as a transformative and unifying force. Mae has been an avid choral singer since adolescence and strives to create an inclusive and inspiring atmosphere for young singers in the Berkshires.

 

Ginevra Bull

Choral music has always been close to Gin’s heart, and she sang in choirs throughout childhood in her native England. She has worn many hats over the years and has worked as a travel writer, a foundation program officer supporting urban agriculture initiatives, an arts administrator, and the founding artistic director of an OBIE award-winning Off-Broadway theater company. Since moving from New York City to the Berkshires in 2012, Gin has become a ceramicist, and a certified Reiki practitioner. She volunteers to support the work of several local organizations, and she appreciates the opportunity Vocalis affords young people to find and develop their voices.

 

Jane Larkworthy

Jane grew up performing in choirs, and studied music at Ithaca College. She has been a beauty editor for more than 30 years and is currently a brand consultant. A native New Yorker, she and her husband made the Berkshires their full-time home two years ago. She is an active member of Multicultural BRIDGE, and is an agent at Fairground Real Estate.
